Job Objective

We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of characters, objects, environments, and props, ensuring they meet project specifications and artistic requirements. You will leverage advanced 3D modeling software to sculpt and design 3D assets that enhance our visual storytelling across various projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create detailed 3D models using Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or similar 3D modeling software, adhering to project specifications and artistic standards.
• Utilize texture mapping, shading, and other techniques to produce graphics, visual effects, and animations that bring our projects to life.
• Collaborate with animators, designers, and other artists, participating actively in meetings to discuss and align on ongoing projects.
• Understand project requirements thoroughly and conceptualize creative ideas to meet these needs.
• Develop storyboards to visualize scenes and create realistic environments for movies, games, and other visual applications.
• Receive and incorporate feedback from directors, animators, designers, and clients to refine and improve 3D creations.
• Review 3D art, suggest, and implement recommended improvements to enhance visual output.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during project work, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
• Engage with clients, designers, and directors to discuss project requirements, revisions, and deadlines, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Animation, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and sculpting software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of texturing, shading, material properties, UV mapping, and unwrapping techniques.
• Knowledge of 3D asset optimization techniques for real-time applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce visually appealing and technically efficient 3D models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to meet project-specific requirements.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of 3D models and assets.

Skills Required:

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of 3D modeling skills, including characters, environments, and props.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality visual content.
• Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning new technologies and software to stay ahead in the field of 3D modeling and animation.
